Graduationparty!

Me and my friends from school sure new how to have a good time..

Celebrate good times, come on!

 Finally after 3 years of school.. I'm a nurse!!

It was a wonderful day with family and friends. To those who were there thank you so much! For those you congratulatd me.. Thank you so much!

Thanks everyone who came to myopen house that evening. I had fun and felt truly celebrated!

Me and Markku started off with some rockin out in pj's.. And the we had a lovely dinner with my brother and desert alone :) Cozy! Thank you mother-in-law to be Anja for the wonderful Mumin bowls!!

We drove to Bolliaden and partied as long as the music was playing. It was a memorable evening. And at the strike of 00:00:00 mmmmmmmmm! We're getting married this year!!

I love you Markku! You're awesome!

Dagen började med att jag fick köra pappa till jobbet och sen mamma eftersom jag skulle ha bilen. Det blev en hel del städ och plock också... o dator och telefon.

Jag la ut min första pryl på blocket :) http://www.blocket.se/vi/19445565.htm?ca=23_10_s Det var kul! Nu ska jag bli av med min loftsäng. Ska bli så skönt att sova med lite utrymme och luft kring sig och inte uppe i taket! Någon som vill ha en sängstomme?? :) Fick ett svar av en snubbe på kvällen men jag vet då inte om han vill ha den.. hur som helst, jag fick ett svar! Oops I just realized that this is in Swedish.. Oh man... Well nothing very interesting anyway.. Will continue in english for you english speaking readers :)

Me and Markku found an appartment that we liked on blocket. We talked to the dude and it might be an option for our near future living :)

Later on I drove to pic up my sister from school, we had some lunch at McDonalds and then drove to Ullared. We got there about 4pm and shopped, shopped, shopped.... yeah you get the picture.. shopping :) haha.. It was fun and we found a lot of stuff that we needed, AND a lot that we DIDN'T need :) A bit of both came with us home in the car around 8 pm when we were so tired from all the waking that we couldn't stand it anymore! We did find some Christmas gifts and stuff so that was nice to get some of that shopping done :)

It was a successful day and I felt very productive.

I went to Smycka from the hospital as soon as I got off.. I picked them up! And mine at least fit me.. maybe a little tight, but now that I think about it, it feels realy good that way! Haha, what problems we have had!

At 20.40 i jumped on a train to Lund and Markku picked me up. We drove back out to Barebäcks hamn where we got engaged and exchanged rings for the second time! Perfect fit!

We are now happily engaged for reals!!!!

We drove back to Borås. After school we went to Smycka and measured our fingers again.. and decided to shrink both rings 0,25 size. They told us we could pick them up tomorrow..

Markku dropped me off at my internship at the hosptial and drove home to Barsebäck..

We had soup at my school for lunch and had an awesome time! We are on to something. Business, business...

After MANY trips to the jewelery stores all over. We finally descided on the rings! Man it was hard work! But YAY! I went to Smycka in Borås to order them.. we called them day after day and asked if they were done so that I could pick them up. But no.. not done!

After waiting patiently the 26th when Markku was in Göteborg we went to pick them up. We drove out to Fiskebäck where we have a nice spot with a lot of memories and exchanged rings. It was so windy and cold, oh my goodness!!!

After that we went to Tsien Tsin and had chinese food. Yum! We had them on but we felt that they were too big! What were we going to do?! We got home and descided to call the store. They said we could come in with them the next day and make them smaller to no extra cost. Phew!

What can be nicer than breakfast in bed on your birthday..? That was the start of a very fun day!

WOW! We're getting married! What a wonderful evening!

11.00 The day started with me, sneaky me, stupid me :), putting my hand in his pocket. I found the ring box and he saw me see it. We didn'tsay anything about it and went shopping at center syd. On the way there I was babbling about so much stuff.. asking so many questions about everything and nothing. Nervous talk I guess :) And during shopping my mind was going nuts. I realized I had to make up my mind about marrying him or not! I told God to give me a sign if I shouldn't and that if I didn't get a sign I'd go through with it.. almost black mailing, haha!

17.00 Center syd closed.. We sat in the car and we descided to go to Barsebäcks hamn.. our spot. We walked around for a bit and found flower shop that someone had in their garage, he bought me a rose. (How sweet of him!) And then we walked on and got to a nice little dock. We stood there with the blanket we brought to keep warm, but it was still freezing.

19 something, maybe 20.. Felt like forever. We stood there and said nice things to eachother and laughed. I could feel Markku's heart going bonkers! AND THEN!!! He got down on one knee and asked me question. Not just any question but THE ONE!

Markku -"Will you marry me?"

Linda - Yes.

And then we just started to giggle. He was amazed that I said yes without even stopping to think, but I told him I had had all day to think :)

He gave me a ring and I put it on. IT FIT!! Beautiful stuff!

And after all this. We asked, what do we do now?! What are you surposed to do? hahaha.. So he asked me if I was hungry. I said yes. It had been a long energy demanding day :)

We went to a thai place in Lund. It was the most romantic dinner ever! We were so in love!

On the way home to the Wiklöf family we stopped and called my family. They were so happy! And then when we got home we snook in to the office to call Markku's family. I couldn't understand what they were saying but I could tell they were happy the way Markku was smiling and laughing. Phew!

We went upstairs and told Thomas and Kirsti and the kids.

It was a nice evening!! Everyone was just smiling so much! We will remember it forever!!

We got to get in touch with our long time no see relatives.. what a fun day! We finished it with going to Marlene and Andreas and watched 21. Thanks for a lovely evening!

Markku and I went to Josefin and Jens wedding reception. CONGRATULATIONS to the new Carlsson family! hehe..

On our way home, before we left Stockholm we stopped at Skansen. It rained a tiny bit but it was so much fun! We saw all sorts of animals. We found a really cool set of utters and a bear that was funny.. We also found a lovely spot to have some "fika". A perfect spot! The yellow leaves were all over the trees and ground, there was water running under a little old wooden bridge and the birds were tweeting.. could it get any more romantic?

And isn't Markku just so cute?!

Here we were.. on the boat home from Finland. Bye bye Finland funland :) hahaha...

And me and Markku still have a little disagreement. Is it Finlandsbåten or Sverigebåten? That is the question!

 My first evening in Finland ever! Guess what we did..? That's right! Me, Markku and his mother Anja went to a sauna.. it was so nice! First we stopped on the way to this cool little hut and picked some "björkris" that we made a hmm.. what are they called? the things you hit eachother with in the sauna.. anyway. I made my first whip!! Then we went to sauna and ran into the ice cold water.. man it was cold! And of course.. we ate a lot of good food!

Finland was fun, we went to a lot of nice places. In one place, Porvoo/Borgå (an old town), we found this little marketthat had hats and t-shirts and stuff. I just had to be a cute fin for a while :)

What an awesome Festinord it was.. I got to be with my man Markku for the whole week! So much fun!
